Part Rob's work committment part honeymoon....we had wonderful accommodation at Melbourne's Crown Towers for about a week, then we went on our road trip - down the eastern strip to Sorrento, across on the ferry to Queenscliff then along the Great Ocean Road as far as the 12 apostles then back to Melbourne via Geelong.
Highlights would have to be the food (and coffee venues) on offer in Melbourne/Victoria never ending, and the next restaurant/bistro/coffee bar better than the previous!! The Great Ocean Road trip is spectacular in parts, pretty chilly also down that way, but we got to dress Christian in a beanie for the first time, which made for some cute photos!
Shopping opportunities are everywhere...and a nice change to the shopping malls here in Qld - we trekked along all the well known stretches - Ackland St, St Kilda and Chapel St, Toorak, not to mention Lygon St and all the numerous lanes and alleyways in the city itself. Definitely worth another trip (or two)....with wads of money!!
